Bwana Spoons / ブワナスプーンズ
Bwana Spoons is an artist all the way thru the brain and into the guts. He is a painter, illustrator, sculptor, and toy maker. Bwana has his works featured on just about anything imaginable, from cars, to strollers, to shoes. His artwork has been featured around the globe from his current hometown of Portland, to San Francisco, Los Angles, New York, to Japan, Spain, London, Paris, and a few parts in between. His favorite form of art these days is watercolor, and now he’s learning ceramics. When Bwana isn’t doing any of this you can find him on his bike, knee deep in the Clackamas River rock hunting, or tinkering away in his self made studio in Portland Oregon.

ブワナ・スプーンズは、脳から内臓に至るまですべて芸術家です。 画家であり、イラストレーターであり、彫刻家であり、おもちゃ職人でもあります。車、ベビーカー、靴など、ありとあらゆるものに彼の作品が描かれています。彼の作品は、現在の故郷であるポートランド、サンフランシスコ、ロサンゼルス、ニューヨーク、日本、スペイン、ロンドン、パリなど、世界各地で紹介されています。最近のお気に入りのアートは水彩画で、今は陶芸を習っているそうです。ブワナがこの仕事をしていないときは、自転車に乗ったり、クラカマス川に膝まで浸かってロックハンティングをしたり、オレゴン州ポートランドの自作のスタジオでおもちゃをいじくりまわしている姿が見られます。

RAMPAGE is Jon Malmstedt. Jon went to one of those fancy university things, but it didn’t quite click, so he found his own way to the crazy world of art and toys. Jon is a painter, sculptor and is particularly horrible at anything digitally involved. SOFUBI is the perennial medium that RAMPAGE is associated with, but Jon does enjoy some watercolors while drinking coffee in the morning, and it wouldn’t be altogether impossible to imagine a future career of finish woodworking if time would allow. When not hunched over the work table in his studio, Jon can be found in the woods, climbing rocks,or riding bikes, or out for walks with his lovely wife and dogs.

ジョンはある有名な大学に進学しましたがどうもピンと来ず、アートとおもちゃのクレイジーな世界に自分自身の道を見つけました。ジョンは画家であり造形師ですが、デジタルに関する全てが恐ろしく苦手です。RAMPAGEといえばソフビですが、朝のコーヒータイムに水彩画を描いたり、時間の許す限り、木工における将来的なキャリアも考えています。スタジオで作業台に向かっていないときはロッククライミングやサイクリングをしたり、愛する妻や犬と散歩をしています。
